We had some fantastic okra tonight, bought at the farmer's market last Wednesday. Apparently okra is peaking at the moment. These were larger than I've had in the past and much crisper. We had it as a side to sambar with radish (bought this morning at the big Saturday farmer's market). The radish was also delicious. Other local ingredients included tomatoes and white onion. Everything was good, but the okra is the most memorable and probably the best I've ever had.
